JAN 5 GE- REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

20 - $10,000 renewable scholarships - up to $40,000. College bound students who demonstrate leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship

JAN 9  DISTINGUISHED YOUNG WOMEN 

Junior Girls. Upon the completion of your junior year in high school, you have the opportunity to earn college scholarship money through the Distinguished Young Women Program (Formerly Junior Miss Program) of Cache County. This program is not a "beauty Pageant." It is a program strictly to teach and build life skills and award cash scholarships. Finalists chosen from Cache County will go on to compete at the State Level. See Amanda for an application.

JAN 11 JACKIE ROBINSON FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides scholarship of up to $28,000/four year to minority high school students showing leadership potential and demonstrating financial need to an accredited 4-year college or university of their choice. JAN 13 GATES MILLENNIUM SCHOLARS 
For minority students (African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American) needing financial aid in completing a college degree. JAN 15 WASHINGTON CROSSING
Scholarships range from $500 to $5000 for seniors planning a career in government service.  Based on an a completed application, essay, letter of recommendation, transcript and resume. JAN 18 AMS FELLOWSHIP AND SCHOLARSHIP 

American Meteorological Society awards funding to minority students who have been under represented in the sciences, especially Hispanic, Native American, and Black/African American students.  Must plan to pursue a career in the atmospheric or related oceanic or hydrologic sciences. 2-year scholarships are for $3,000 per year.  Also application for a scholarship from the Department of Meteorology at the U of U. JAN 24 NIAAA- NATIONAL INTERSCHOLASTIC ATHLETIC ADMIN ASSOCIATION

Purpose of Scholarship: In accordance with NIAAA purpose to promote, facilitate, and increase the knowledge and understanding of the vital role of interscholastic athletics in the educational system. The scholarships will recognize the distinguished scholastic, leadership, and citizenship attributes of high school student athletes, and the importance of high school athletics in each student’s life. Criteria:

1. Applicant must be a Senior

2. Applicant must have achieved at least two (2) of the following: (A) minimum of B+ average; (B) Ranked in the top 25% of class; (C) ACT score of 24 or an SAT score of 1100 (Math and Reading)

3. Applicant must have participated in two sports for at least two years in each sport

4. Applicant must have earned at least one varsity letter in each of two sports

5. Applicant must complete attached scholar/essay application

6. Applicant must have a letter of recommendation from the high school athletic administrator/director

7. School athletic director must be an NIAAA member and a member of their respective state athletic administrators association

JAN 27 UTAH CTE SCHOLARSHIPS TUITION AWARDS 

One year tuiton awards for outstanding Career And Technical Education (CTE) students. Eligible candidates are those who are seeking a one-year certificate, or a two-year associate or technical degree/or seeking to be a school teacher in a CTE area.
